Have you ever been in a yoga class and asked yourself, “Am I doing this right?” or “What am I supposed to feel in this pose?” or “Why does my shoulder/ wrist/ knee hurt” or “How can I make this pose feel better?”
Join Mackenzie Dancho for an intimate, two hour workshop to break down and refresh your alignment, and create a sustainable yoga practice that won’t cause you pain! We’ll break down foundational poses together (like Downward Dog, Warrior II, Side Angle, and Triangle) but please feel free to come with your questions as well!
A small group environment (8 people or less) will guarantee we find alignment that works for YOUR body, with lots of time for individual adjustments and breaking down the cues you often hear in class. This is a great way for new yogis to get more comfortable, and for experienced yogis to refresh their alignment and invite more awareness into their practice.
Mind Body Soul Sound with Amanda Burkowski Carson, Homa Houshmand, and Todd Koga. Join us @theyogabarre on Tuesday, December 11th from 8pm – 9:30pm for and evening of healing for your mind, body, and soul through discussion, restorative yoga, and gong bath meditation.
Psychotherapist Homa will lead the evening off with a community discussion, Amanda will then guide you through a restorative yoga session with Todd accompanying on his gong along with other healing instruments.
It is said that every sound in the universe can be channeled through a gong. Gongs are said to aid in stress reduction, break up emotional blockages, and provide a mental and physical release leading to deep moments of relaxation.
Tickets are only $30.00 and include a hot cup of tea to sip on during the opening discussion.
