The Yoga Barre Membership & Class Pass Terms and Conditions

VIP Member Benefits:

The VIP Membership program is flexible and is designed to fit in with your busy life. It is based with our members own personal wellness in mind – nurturing and inspiring our members to become better versions of themselves both mentally and physically. Benefits of the membership program also include:

  • Classes at significantly reduced rates. The more you practice the better the value and results.
  • 5 x complimentary guest passes each year that you are a member (worth $85)
  •  Early access to the pre-sale of exclusive TYB workshops, bootcamps, retreats, and challenges as well as a discounted participation in those events.
  • Invitation to our exclusive annual VIP party.
  • Exclusive access to our VIP lounge – a silent lounge where you can collect your thoughts, sip some tea, take a nap, read a book or magazine, or colour.
  • 15% discount to private classes.
  • 10% off all retail purchases.

VIP Membership Payment:

When you sign up for a VIP Membership your payment will be taken off of your credit card on the same day each month. This transaction commences from the day you sign up.

VIP Membership upgrade/downgrade: 

VIP Members are welcome to swap between the two VIP Membership options. Simply email membership@theyogabarrewpg.com to upgrade or downgrade your Membership. There is a 3 month minimum term for any revised Memberships.

Suspend your VIP Membership:

We don’t want you to be paying for a Membership you’re not getting value out of, we realize that life happens! If you would like to suspend your Membership simply email us with at least 7 days before your next scheduled payment. We can freeze your account for a minimum of 7 days and for a maximum of 2 months.

Cancel your VIP Membership:

The Yoga Barre understands that circumstances can change.  We don’t want to ‘trap’ anyone into long term financial commitment, but we ask that you commit to minimum 3 month term to allow you see and feel the benefits of regular, ongoing practice before ending your Membership. After the initial 3 month term, if you still wish to cancel simply contact us via email with at least 7 days before your scheduled payment date. Memberships are paid in advance on a monthly basis based on which payment option you select, so no refunds can be awarded once the transaction has been made if you fail to advise within adequate time frames.

We do understand that life can be unexpected, so if a unique situation arises please discuss your situation with us directly if need be.

Intro Pass Validity

The introductory offer is for new clients only and is active 30 days from the first class attended after purchasing the pass.  If a student has visited the studio before on a guest pass or on a karma class pass they still qualify to do the intro month.

Minimum Age Policy

Members must be at LEAST 16 years of age to participate in regular programming at TYB.  Members under the age of 16 will be able to enroll in our yoga 4 youth programming.

Pre-registration and Cancellation Policy – VIP Members and Class Pass holders:

Pre-registration:
Due to limited class sizes, we strongly recommend you pre-register online to reserve your spot!

Classes are open to pre-registration 1 month before scheduled class date.  We understand that people like to plan in advance, so this should give you ample time to register.  Once you do, we recommend you write it in your day planner, a notice on your phone, whatever you need to do so that you don’t miss your class!

Cancellation:
If you book a class and can’t make it, please LOG IN to your account to change or cancel your booking. If you are absent or cancel within two hours of the class start time, it often means that there was an empty spot in class and another student who REALLY wanted to be there was unable to attend.

No shows or late cancellation will result in a penalty:

  • Intro Pass holders will be warned on their first offense, then be charged 10.00 on their second offense.
  • Pass holders will loose a class from their class card.
  • VIP Members will be charged a 10.00 late cancellation/no show fee.
  • All members regardless of membership option will have their booking privileges suspended if they miss/late cancel two classes within a two week period.

We also understand emergencies do arise, so if a last minute emergency comes up please contact the studio immediately via phone call or email.  Contact must be made before the start of your scheduled class.  We will also make record of the incident on our profile so if we be aware if someone is using ’emergencies’ a little too often.


5 Minute Rule, On Time Policy:

Please try to come to the studio at least 15 minutes before the scheduled class time.  If the class is full and there are students waiting on the wait list, your spot will be given up if you are not signed in 5 minutes before the scheduled class time.  This is to ensure that our classes start on time and that everyone is set up and prepared well before the start of class.

Studio doors will lock once a class starts, no late comers will be admitted into class.


Wait List:

If the class is full, and you still wish to pre-register you will be added to a wait list.  Much like a QUEUE, the first one added to the wait list will be the first one added to the class list if there is a cancellation before the 2 hour cancellation cut off.

You will be informed via email, text message, or both.  Email is the default notification set up, if you would like text notification please let us know at the front desk and we will be more than happy to set that up for you.

If you physically show up to a class you are on a wait list for, you will be allowed to take someone’s spot who has not shown up 5 minutes before the start of class.  Member who is on top the wait list and present will be the first one admitted.

Returns & Refunds:

All purchases are non-exchangeable, non-refundable or non-transferable. Unfortunately we are not able to refund any client for unused VIP Membership periods or Class Passes.

Retail purchases are exchange only provided products have not been opened, used, or worn.  In cases of a manufacturer defect, product can be exchanged or a credit for the amount paid will be applied to your personal account.


Studio Hours:

Studio will be open 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after a scheduled class.  This will usually pertain to AM classes or evenings where a front desk employee is not present.

General Terms:

The Yoga Barre reserves the right to cancel and change teachers, events, classes, workshops and teacher trainings without prior notice.

Privacy Policy:

All of your contact info is solely for our own personal use and will be strictly confidential.
