Be Here Now: An Intro to Meditation.
Join Shift Yoga from 12:00pm – 2:00pm from January 19th – February 9th for a four week meditation course right here at The Yoga Barre.
This course has been designed to encourage you to wake up to your life exactly how it is. You will learn informal and formal mindfulness mediation practices. We will debunk myths about meditation, have lots of time for Q & A, for reflection, and learn how meditation affects the brain as well as the body.
Self compassion, managing stress, and the practice of self care will be discussed and you will find a way that is unique to you to carry on these practices in your every day life.
You’ll also be given guided mediation recordings to use as home, tools and resources to support ongoing learning & access to a private Facebook group to continue to share insights and keep the conversation going after the course is over.
